GERMAN THEATER ABROAD – NEW YORK 2004

With the “A” – Trane to the gig !

In July 2004 I had the great luck to go to a concert with the famous “A”-Trane in New York!

It was a very nice and exciting time in New York and we really enjoyed playing for GERMAN THEATER ABROAD and the New York audience at the Public Theater Manhattan!

Announcement in the program booklet:

BARCODE soul jazz trio

The Band “Barcode” combines soulful club jazz with the distinctive sound of the Hammond B3 organ. Their repetoire consists of soul standards like “Let’s stay together” and “What’s going on” as well as funk tunes like “Chicken”, organ classics like “the Cat” as weil as self composed works.
The Trio “Barcode” is Thomas Kimmerle on the tenor, Bernd Wurzenrainer on the Hammond B3 organ and Bogdan Slusarski on drums.
“Barcode” is a charming and personal live trio act filled with a passion for music and the ability to show it !
